UN Secretary-General praises conference on establishment of ME WMDFZ in Beirut


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants welcomed, in a statement, "the commendation issued by the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, for the successful conclusion of the third session of the Conference on the Establishment of a Zone Free of Nuclear Weapons and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction in the Middle East."
The statement added that "the Secretary-General congratulated the countries participating in the conference, led by Lebanon, represented by the acting permanent representative, Jean Mourad, for the constructive deliberations that touched upon the areas that are considered a red line."
